We caught up with Juan Rodriguez of Juan’s Tattoos a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
What inspired you to start?
I always admired tattoos and grew up around many people who had tattoos. This led me to have an appreciation and a love for tattoos and the art of tattooing. This, along with my passion for being around people, led me to start tattooing.
What makes your business stand out from other companies?
My business stands out because of the fact that mostly tattoo that live close to I live, which makes it cool to see people which I have tattooed in my neighborhood.
What has been one of your most memorable customer success stories?
Some of my best and most memorable customer experiences are when couples come in together and get tattoos on the same day. Sometimes they’ll get matching tattoos or tattoos that go together, and other times they’ll get completely separate tattoos, but the experience of being part of it is just awesome.
What advice would you give to your client to prepare before they start working with you?
The advice that I give to clients is to visualize what tattoo they want and to have several examples of what they want their tattoo to like. That, and just to relax.
Do you have any exciting plans for the future of your business?
At the moment, I plan to stay small, but one day I might like to have several locations.
